Full Gauge Serial Converter CONV32 USB RS485 with Sitrad

The CONV32 Interface allows Full Gauge controllers with serial communication to be connected to a computer that has a USB communication port.

The Interface is then responsible for transforming the electrical standard used by the computer into the RS-485 electrical standard used by the controllers.

Full Gauge uses the RS-485 network to provide greater robustness and reliability to communication between its controllers and the Sitrad software.

Communication is established using two wires (A and B), and Half-Duplex communication can then be carried out in which the computer is the master and the controllers are slaves.

IMPORTANT :

For a correct and robust installation of the RS-485 network, check item 6 –

Interconnecting controllers and CONV32.

The length of the RS-485 network must be a maximum of 1000 meters.

Always use a shielded USB cable, with a maximum length of 1.8 meters and

certified by USB.org.

In Sitrad Pro it is possible to install more than one CONV32 version 03 or

superior.
